Your prescriptions will be filled to last until your next appointment with us. However, should you need medication refills they can be requested through your pharmacist. There will be a charge for these refills. PRESCRIPTION REFILL REQUESTS THROUGH THE WEB PORTAL ARE NOT ACCEPTED. No refill requests will be taken after hours or on weekends. Be sure you get adequate medications at the time of your office visits. It is important that we know about all medications including those prescribed by other physicians.

Our policy is to have patients schedule a return office visit with their provider in order to have their prescriptions renewed. This allows us to update any changes in patient history and note any related medical changes that may have occurred. The interval may be 6 months for some patients and one year for others depending on the patient's individual needs. Our policy is not only good medical practice but is required by North Carolina law to avoid inadvertent problems.
